Description A settlement of adobe, or mud brick, buildings has been a staple of desert life for thousands of years. Dating back to earliest years of permanent human habitation of the Middle East and Africa, adobe buildings have changed little over the years. Thus the buildings seen by Rommel’s and Monty’s forces during WWII could easily be the same as those seen by 19th Century armies or those of the late 20th Century. While individual settlements themselves are unique, all tend to feature similar buildings – a group of houses, a vibrant market, a mosque and of course – a well. Elessi will accept exchanges and returns of unworn and unwashed garments within 30 days of the date of purchase (14 days during the sales period), on presentation of the original till receipt at any store where the corresponding collection is available within the country of purchase.
